I am an emerging professional artist specializing in portraits, figures and animals. What sets my work apart from many artists—and from AI—is the labor and intention behind every piece. I don’t rely on shortcuts or automated processes. Instead I spend time observing, listening and responding to subtle cues of expression, posture and character so each portrait communicates the subject’s inner life as well as their likeness.

My process is deliberate and layered: preliminary sketches and studies, careful attention to anatomy and gesture, then multiple stages of painting to build depth, texture and the fleeting nuances of light that reveal mood. For animal portraits I focus on the small gestures and eyes that speak to temperament and bond. For figurative and human portraits I prioritize emotion—those micro-expressions and tensions in posture that tell a person’s story.
